What is a Triple Offset Butterfly Valve?
A Triple Offset Butterfly Valve has three distinct offsets from the valve center to eliminate friction and allow a bubble-tight metal seal:
- First Offset – shaft is behind the centerline of disc
- Second Offset – shaft is off centerline of pipe
- Third Offset – disc-seat interface is a cone angle
This design minimizes seat wear, reduces torque, and enables high-cycle performance with zero leakage (Class VI).
